After falling in love with the in between loading movies on Call Of Duty World At War, I dove into the world of motion graphics. Simply put, I am in love. I can now combine my passion of design and illustration with my other passion of animation!

So many fucking ideas in my head! It's only a matter of learning how to use the tools to have my ideas come to life. It will take time, but I'm so excited to execute ideas that I'm going to learn as much as I can all Winter before school starts.

NOTE: I know Randomentity recently got into After Effects as well, however I was unable to see the video he posted in his after effects thread, which made me sad. So maybe all you After Effects artists can use this thread to post some of the projects and exercises you have. =)

Anyways, here is my VERY FIRST After Effects exercise to a 4 second clip of Grand Master Flash's "The Message." I don't think it came out too bad at all for a first timer!

Tell me what you all think. Thanks!

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm skimming the net for some tutorials and I'm going to go out this weekend to look for a good book to learn this program. I have a pretty good DV camera too so I hope within a couple of weeks I'll be able to film some test footage that I can play with.

Also, thanks everyone for checking it out. I'm planning on using my vimeo account to post nothing but After Effects exercises.

This is something I made at Parsons for my midterm. I think it's my best animation to date.

The Piper's Waltz

Check out my profile, I got some other decent motion graphics stuff in there that you might like: Ray's Vimeo Profile
