Anyways, my mate is a massive Helmet fan and John Stanier is pretty much his drum hero. Neil Pert and Mike Portnoy top my list, but that's just because I'm a prog nerd. There are so many great drummers out there in their respective genres. I personally love going out to shows and finding great drummers in some small opening band. They usually have the most heart. And I couldn't tell you about the guy in the first post, I stopped watching after 30 seconds because the two repetitive notes on the keyboard drove me nuts. 12574
