<body>Godaddy is killing me. I keep having people tell me that emails are getting bounced back to them and I've read up that that's a constant problem with Godaddy. Can anyone recommend a good webhost that is fairly inexpensive? Thanks.</body>

<body>If its just an email issue and you like GoDaddy's hosting, look into Google Apps to host your MX record. You get to keep yourusername@yourdomain.com

I've been doing that for years and haven't encountered any issue with GoDaddy and email.

You get to use the Gmail web interface, spam controls, IMAP, and if you have an AIM account, you can use it in Gchat.</body>

Don't they up the storage space on a weekly basis too?

I would def look into them for a hosting package.

But if its simply an email issue, justgeoff should still look into switching his MX record over to Google Apps. I would actually suggest it to anyone with a business email.

Its cheaper than an Exchange Server (its free, with different pay levels if your needs grow or if you dont want the ads). The best part is that your email will be independent of who you use to host the site and stays up even if your site goes down.

We've actually had a lot of problems with dreamhost over the years. They're definitely inexpensive and a lot of people use em, but in our experience they're not real stable or reliable.</body>

<body>Eric, that's one of the first negatives that i've heard about dreamhost. I hope that i continue to have good experiences then.

GFH: yes, they do up the storage space. it's pretty rad. i have enough space to host a e-commerce, my main site, and a ton of client files. and i'm still not using a lot of the space i am offered.
Also, they use GMail.(not sure if that's a regular thing with other hosts) So the email part is great. I would fully recommend them from my experiences.</body>

<body>Dreamhost has been nothing but great when it comes to strictly hosting for me- but on the flipside, I don't get too tech when it comes to my web stuff, so I could easily see people ripping out hair dealing with the clunkiness of some of their stuff.

awaken; they use Gmail? I have to look into that!</body>
