Whuddup dudes, I'm wondering what some of you think is the best way to display web work or print work on an online portfolio? I'm working on mine right now and I have a few websites I've done along with some mocks up sites that I want to display, but I don't know what is most effective, whether it be just a screen shot of the site or 2-4 close up images of the site. Also for print work, I want to display the actual print along with a macro type picture that has depth of field, like this <img src="http://www.gomediazine.com/wp-content/images/2009/04/catfish-mock.jpg" /> I want to do this because much what I designed is not printed or I don't have the actual print. The above picture I posted is from Gomediazines latest post and Jeff said that he created that effect using photoshop. I tried playing around with it, using layer masks and lens blurs but I'm retarded and still having trouble finding the right way to transform the picture... Some examples of what you all may think would be best would be great too.
