LABEL DILEMMA!!!

posted 7 months ago by rich-priority

i have just received a tonne of labels for the new priority clothing range.

however only have the size of the t-shirt (no washing instructions etc)

the new designs are printed on american apparel t-shirts, so what would be the best thing to do?

also the labels seem to be a bit more paper like than fabric. is that a problem?

any help would be awesome +:)

were you planning on keeping the AA label intact? if not, you probably should have designed the label with care instructions, made in, etc.

the plan was to take the aa labels out. but isnt it illegal ro something to not have washing instructions etc?

were you planning on insetting your label into the neck seam? If so, i would leave the AA label underneath. Then inset you new label. So the RN#, made in, care, content stays intact and the buyer knows they are getting a AA blank.

ok man, i may do, only problem is. the aa tag will then poke out the bottom with the size, so looks a tad silly with the size twice.

I see that you are in the UK. not sure what the legal specifications are over there. check with your printer. If you are aren’t doing large numbers out of the gate maybe stress is all for naught.

    Good Luck!
