I guess the main difference between big cartel and Spreadshirt is that it’s the whole package. They buy, make and post the t-shirts and deal with all the finance. All you have to do is come up with the designs. Of course it isn’t all good news, the prices are a little high and there are restrictions as to what you can put on the t-shirts (flex printing and transfers are the only methods on offer, no silk screening).
Overall more for the dabbler (like myself) rather than someone serious about doing for a living, though there are a few who are able to do this.
