I decided that the best way for me to break in my new Wacom tablet was to do a slime typeface. Yes, I know that everybody and their mother has done slime type before, but this was my first time trying it, so I want to know what you all think of it.
Any pointers, suggestions, etc?

what program are you using? make sure "shape dynamics" is selected on your brush settings in PS.

Yeah that's selected, and I'm using Photoshop CS3. Why?

just curious.
definitely vary your line width though, but not bad.

Making it thicker at the bottom of the drip does wonders.

I was just looking at that, and i definitely need to vary my line width. I'm working on it as we speak, but I also fell asleep at my desk three times in the past twenty minutes, so I'm probably calling it a night soon. I'll work on it some more, and then post an updated version sometime soon. Thanks man!
And is there anything else i need to work on?

i think with slime text bigger text is best and bigger bolder slime
less like text with bits of slime and more like slime that just happens to spell out a word if that makes sense

Yeah I know what you mean, but I felt like trying something like this out. I personally like both, as long as they look good.

Oh dude, like 2 fonts is acceptable, 3 at the most. There are 8 different typefaces on that flyer. My brain is exploding.
