    I’ve created a design for their range but it’s now been bumped to the fall line. I’m a little worried about the likelihood of that coming through, since it’s a while off but let’s stay optimistic :)

    that black shirt with space looks like shit, on the zoom you can see the mess ups, then on the sleeves of one of the sub belt prints, looks mega shitty. and the ufo one is a rockett rip. just took out the girl and drew ufos instead of ghosts. MEHHHHHH still every shirt has those stupid glasses

    I’m the screen manager at american icon, so I’ve been staring at the films for some of this stuff for weeks.

    my concern is just how long they can push the "you’re not the same as everyone else, why should your clothing be any different" slogan when everyone in AP and everywhere else is d-riding them.

    that said, I like Mark a lot and he does good work for his audience. some of it I even really like, but generally it’s not my bag.

    when you have thousands to throw to bands to wear your shit and to buy trailers for and basically bribe their way into things, I believe anyone can accomplish anything with the right money.

    I would never ever give my bands money to wear my stuff, either you like it or you dont. But I’m not going to pay you to wear my stuff, give me a break. I also get cocky when you say THEY, when hell its just "ME"

    I agree with all of the above..... except for the dude part!

    GK goes above and beyond to achieve some of the most massive prints I have seen and if any of you guys ripping it knew how hard it was to get perfect belt sub prints then you may appreciate it a little more....

    I have to agree with Caleb. I’m not a 12-16 yr old kid sitting around on facebook talking about glamour kills.. so I don’t quite get their style. But kudos for making their brand.

    Even though his style might not be everyone’s favorite, he’s done one of the best jobs of establishing a target market and doing everything to reach out to that market. The fans of the bands he sponsors are for the most part 13-18 year old and his designs reflect their tastes.

    I have a similar style to GK as far as colors and demographic goes for the most part, except I wouldnt say my work is as loose as Marky’s designs.

    For me to really appreciate the designs of other’s I need to see traditional artwork done by them.

    Hence the reason I am on here a ton getting inspired by the work Ive seen. Its pushing my ass to stop taking the easy way out with all vector-based designs and start challenging myself with illustration.

    holy moly! u are very sadly misinformed.... never bought a band a trailer, all our bands wear glamour kills cause they want to (they dont recieve paychecks from us when they where them. we are honest good people who make a product that people enjoy... and some people dont and that is totally cool. just wanted to clarify that for everyone and please note that shirt wasnt a rockett rip (who i admire as a company very much) but an ode to the greatest television show on earth, any questions email me for sure and ill tell you or give any advice i can mark@glamourkills.com
