Large Transparencies

posted 4 months ago by FuzzyInk

I’m going to be printing a design (about 15" x 13") and I’m trying to get ahold of some larger transparencies to do the exposure. I only need a few of these and I don’t want to have to buy in bulk at this point. Would anyone be willing to point me in the right direction? Possibility of someone printing the tansparencies up for me? Compensation to follow. Thanks guys.

Get your seps printed at like Kinkos or where ever at the size you need on some light weight paper.. make sure its a laser print not ink jet. Then douse the paper with baby oil. This will turn the paper translucent and the black ink opache.

Might not be pretty, but it works and works good. And the price is right!

Kinko’s is where I usually go to get my transparencies done. Looks like I’ll need to stop back in and talk to the manager.

stop by the local screen printing shop...i know when i first started a few years ago the people up here would let me just come in and print away some 13x19's...the cost is super low toss them a few bucks and ride out...deff wouldnt go laser jet due to the shrinkage....inkjet all the way.

We help out "little guys" all the time, out puting films, shooting screens, etc...

It is a good idea to find a local shop and befriend them!

Sblake, I am definitely looking for someone around here to help out the little guy. Any printers on here who run shops around Raleigh, NC?
