I ordered a shirt from them. It took over a month and I had to send them a "WTF" email to get my shirt. Apparently they've been having issues with vendors etc due to the economy.

I got the shirt and it's awesome.

My honest advice? If you just want to have a couple shirts made of your design, you can either go with Mysoti or use Aubrey at fullmetaltshirt.com

If you are looking to launch a line of clothing for people to buy...well, a major major MAJOR part of a successful business is top notch customer service. Mysoti currently does not have that, and you will probably not provide a customer experience good enough to provoke repeat business and positive word of mouth marketing.

Just my opinion. If Mysoti could sort out the turnaround time they would be golden!

Hi Guys,

I'm not here to argue against your criticism - it's all valid.

And I appreciate your frustrations - it's been a tricky time for us these past 8 weeks; we've had suppliers go bust because of the recession and other creditors refusing to pay off accounts etc - and it's all resulted in a MASSIVE length of delay for certain products.

I know this doesn't help your situation much but I thought you would benefit from a full and frank explanation as to the delays.

That said, all of our shirts are hand printed to order so there is always a little time between order date and shipping.

All I will say is the talk of our customer service being bad is upsetting simply because that's the stuff that I deal with. I think if you were to talk to people on here who have actually made contact with us via email you'll see we always reply within 24 hours (generally) and we do our very best to keep things going.

It's no excuse I know - but we're a team of four people running an international website shipping product all over the world. We've been badly stung by the economic situation and think we've ridden the worst of it out...

It's hard though when people dismiss your business out of hand on places like here - and I know your criticism is valid but it hurts all the same because we're really trying out best to make everything the best it can be...

It's also worth mentioning that the Canvas and Poster prints have been completely unaffected by this so please give us a go and mail me your order number at steveATmysoti.com and I'll see if I can't take some money off it for you... I'd value your input on our service once you've tried it...

Thanks for listening guys...

Jimiyo this isn't fair simply because the products being used are entirely up to you to make live. We asked you to try the site out and you uploaded a product but decided not to make it for sale.

We don't use designs for 'promotional purposes' - we just encourage people to upload stuff and try to see if you can sell it through us.

Yeah - that's the design; I love that one. But Maybe I'm mistaken because I can't check my emails from here - but there sounds like that there had been a very specific issue with our communication at the beginnings of the site.

I'm not really sure how that relates to the rest of our business 'consistently coming up with excuses for shortcomings' - that seems a kind if unfair leap from 'they didn't use my design' :/

Regardless, we're trying to do better...

Thanks for listening guys...</blockquote>

Let me first clarify that my comments are not towards you personally Hunty. You're a nice guy and a great contributor to the Emptees community.

I'm a firm believer however that a company has to do everything humanly possible to provide a pleasant gold-standard service to their customer.

The economy has affected everyone, it's something that every business has to deal with. But that shouldn't translate into a poor customer experience. Suppliers closing shop? You are selling t-shirts, find another supplier. People not paying you? That's not your customers' fault.

ShirtFight is a *two* person operation that ships globally...we've had tons of obstacles to overcome but we did it. And there will be tons more obstacles in the future. But at the end of the day we make sure we are bending over backwards to make sure that people who have spent their hard earned money (which is tough in this economy!) get their shirts quickly.

So when Benji asks if he should use Mysoti...you're a really great guy, but so is Aubrey and he is extremely customer focused.

The truth may hurt, but it's required in this day and age to be a successful company. I would take everyone's comments here as valuable input to use to improve your business.

I understand this entirely - and 'getting a new supplier' is exactly what we had to do - and on the Friday when they told us they were going bust we spent the next few days looking for people to take over the printing. Found a couple of kind of okay people AND THEN we had a choice:

a) Just ship shirts of lesser quality so people could get them quickly from any old "hey, I've got a DTG machine" company (and there are a LOT of these dudes)

or

b) Keep looking for someone who can do the whole thing and do it at least as equal in quality to what people expect from us.

It may have been a bad short-term business decision to go with B but I would rather we shipped good quality product and do it consistently then just get lesser-quality stuff out of the door because we can.

Plus I know you say it shouldn't make a difference but it does when you are turning over a decent volume of shirts and you need someone to take the weight immediately; it's naive to think otherwise to be honest.

We're trying to do something different with our stuff here - rather than just be another shirt competition site we really want to build something from the grassroots that people can use to enable themselves to make some money. And that difference starts with the quality of our work - both through prints and delivery and customer service and website and affiliations with PlayStation etc etc...

As I say above - all this criticism is valid - I've never treated it any other way but wanted to let people know just what the issues were.

And to be honest I just wanted people to know what's up and in general consider things a little more before saying 'they're shit' and not giving a reason... (people trolling threads and doing this in general is a reason why a lot of us left here all those months ago).

And I'm really not taking things personally - believe me... If I did I'd have changed this avatar months ago :)

I would take everyone's comments here as valuable input to use to improve your business.</blockquote>

While I agree on the customer service aspect. I believe Mysoti and shirtfight are a bit different style of organization. I just think before you go and criticize this man and try to teach him business lessons get in his shoes.

Is that a critisicm of MySoti or your money making skills Gaunty? ;) Seriosuly dude, you've got s shirt going into PlayStation this month... ;)</blockquote>

I still don´t understand what that is at all.</blockquote>

You have to promote your designs to get sales, and the Playstation thing is pretty cool - Hunty has explained it in previous post that has links to his blog.

http://emptees.com/posts/16102-mysoti-shirts-within-playstationr-hometm

Also, regarding the shipping..it did take a little bit of time..but it's all there in the FAQs.

<blockquote><cite>How long will it take to get my shirt?
We want you to have our clothing on your back as soon as possible. But realistically, here is a list of how long it will probably take to get your stuff, depending on where you live on this glorious planet of ours:

UK: 5-25 days
Europe: 5-25 days
US and every where else: 2-25 days

Please be aware though, that this is only a guide - and that sometimes the postal services across this globe of ours do need time to collect their rubber bands. So we would recommend waiting at least 28 days before contacting us.

WE ARE AFRAID THAT WE CANNOT CURRENTLY DEAL WITH CUSTOMER ENQUIRIES REGARDING ORDERS THAT ARE STILL WITHIN THIS 28 DAYS TIME-FRAME.</blockquote>

Also, people that do take the time to talk to Hunty will find that he is more than happy to answer any questions you have.
