Hey guys!
Im flying out to San Francisco this Friday for RENEGADE SF, and Ive got out a map and am trying to figure out where I wanna go on my one free day (this Friday).
Ive mapped out GRSF, Amoeba, Villains (one of my very first retailers), In-N-Out Burger (sadly not within walking distance of my hotel), Chinatown, the Museum of Modern Art, the Cartoon Art Museum...Im staying at the Hilton near Union Square.
Also, lemme just say that it feels good to actually have picked up a halfway decent hotel room, as opposed to my usual strategy of crashing on a couch. I dont think Ive ever bought myself a hotel room, come to think of it...Im such a grown-up!
Anyway, any and all suggestions are welcome - I doubt I will even do all of the stuff I have mapped out already, but Id rather do a few super rad things than a little bit of everything this time around.

the Mission district is pretty cool. Gotta hit that up. Amoeba Records is mind blowing! Rasputins is also another great record store.

If you hit up In & Out, make sure you at least sample the animal fries (theyre not on the menu, you have to ask).
Union Square is a pretty good basecamp. I think youll have a lot of fun.

there is or at least was a cool liitle toy/shirt shop right across the street from amoeba that you should hit up too. i havent been there in a few years so it might not be there, but last i checked it was pretty cool. disappointment, haight/asbury intersection is the gap and ben and jerrys.

Id also recommend Angel Island if you have the time. Also, I know this isnt San Fran, but you can take the Bart over to Berkeley easily, which is a pretty cool area.
PS
I saw some kid rocking your Strange Invaders Tee the other day. There was a show down the street from my house, caught my eye as I was driving past him!
