huge reason they got as big as they are is because they manufacture in the US, and they flaunt it. they've branded their company very well though - people will pay more to be associated with that image...
I like that they're lightweight, and they are soft ringspun cotton. I dislike that I cannot fit into them, unless it's like a 3x. Even then it's tight on teh gunz.
although this one unfortunate time, i was getting a chub off this one ad with a long haired flat chested model, that turned out to be a really cute dood. that sucked.
nicer materials, smoother prints, the shirts/color last longer I've had some black aa shirts I've washed like 20+ times and they don't look faded and have maintained shape. I've tried using the brands that are comparable but its just not the same.
Thats why I love 'em. haha

For sure. I love that about AA. I've never had hardier shirts. Such good washability.

I hear good things about this brand https://www.alternativeapparel.com/Wholesale/Default.aspx? it might be pricier though, AllStyle Apparel makes a shirt called "Gaziani" which is an alternative I think they're kind of cheap personally but they're great for promotional items because the cost is so low.

I would wear Continental Clothing's 70% bamboo / 30% organic cotton every single day of my life, forever. Hands down, the absolute nicest shirt I have ever come into contact with. Solid construction, amazing fabric, terrific fit (for me, at least).

thats one thing that amazes me, ive got a couple black AA shirts that are years old, and they still look pretty much new.
i loved them until we got a shipment shirts that were supposed to be Organic Pomegranate Adult Small's and all the tags said classic girls. confusing as fuck.
how do you mis-label a batch of shirts and still ship them out?

I actually would rather have next level....there I said it!
That and I really was raped by Lindsey Lohan so I get flashbacks when I put on their stuff

yeah common threadz prints on Alternative apparel..i've checked them out before they look pretty good, but not really sure if they are in fact a better 'alternative'.
i actually don't like that they are made in the US. the fit is pretty right on, but i consider myself too worldly to restrict my garment production to one country. my anvils are just as nice and are made in the glorious nation of Uzbekistan, no shit.

what i don't like is the way the back of them hang out after a few washes - which is down to the tubular construction - continental tees fit better but don't offer same feel and opacity for weight, sadly
jsheldon said: Love the material and the weight, but they are super narrow. I wish there was a size between M and L. Their color selection is really nice.

i'm in a weird space between Medium and Large, Larges are way too big, and Mediums are just a tiny tight in my shoulders/neck. I still order mediums, because i'd rather it be a little tight then hanging all loose.
We just tried out some shirts by Canvas (for men) and Bella (for women). The quality and finish of the Canvas shirts were amazing. I would like to switch to them exclusively, but their color palette is not as good as AA.
My biggest beef with AA is the inconsistency of the finish. Sometimes we get side seam shirts and sometimes tube... in the same box!

I went with Alternative Apparel when I first started Quixotic. The shirts were reeaalllly soft but the sizing varied a lot. Also there were a few shirts I ordered on back order and after like 4 or 5 weeks they just deleted my order. I probably won't go back to them.

ow!
but I adore the fit and the softness (girly sleeves included) and the unisex XS.

COLOR PALETTE, for serious. They've got the best color range of anyone out there.
I tried out Alternative Apparel, and own a few shirts printed on them, and the fit is balls and the fabric is too flimsy, by my taste.
LuckyStripes said about 1 month ago
I agree, the colors.
benaiahclothing said about 1 month ago
Me being a larger bodied individual find AA kinda hard to fit the way I like it.
I love the way the shirts feel, colors are awesome, and their V-necks are straight awesome!
I'm actually in the process of designing something for Benaiah to be specifically put on AA V-necks.

About the v-necks, they really need to make a Girl's version of them. X-small is not sufficient.
