I dont find there to be a monumental difference between two and three thus far. Ive got comcast broadband and loading times have never been a concern of mine.

Thats an idea. ive looked now . but ive just re-installed it. and it works fine. it kind sucks losing all the bookmarks and saved passwords so you just have to do it all over again.

firefox saves backups of bookmarks - this is a known fault of firefox.

i have completely written off firefox (except when using firebug to debug sites -- safaris inspector is no replacement).
firefox 3 is just as slow as ff2 (or slower) on my imac. safari ftw

they should still be backed up ;)
