I think the basic worn t-shirt shot looks best and then stick a couple of pages in of model shots maybe do some post cards up with them on or something. If theres too much going on in the background people are less likely to pay attention to the quality of the design.
People like to see people wearing stuff - it gives them an indication of what theyre getting. As for style of those shots; well it really depends on your audience.
Hahahaha! OMG! That villain one is awesome, im so glad i didnt invest anymore time into that name, ha. I like the model shot better, makes me connect with the image and visualize myself wearing the shirt. The others just make me wonder why the shirt has no head lol.
I would say model, like hunty said, people like to see how the shirts/clothing wears. I also think the model, if good, can bring life to the shirt and help the customer see themselves wearing the clothing.
Shirts over models with boobies is also effective.
Model shot.
Just dont have a stupid bunch of flash that takes 50 years to get through.
And make sure you have all your tees on one page (or under headings on one page) cause nothing is more aggravating than having to click through to see tshirts one at a time :)

A model shot would be choice, but right now I just have some basic mock ups...
I dont have the best camera so I rather have those than put out a crap presentation. Id like to get some model shots though.

ultimately your trying to get the customer to buy into your shirt and lifestyle - i.e it will make them 'cool' so lifestyle shots work well
again howies do this very well - makes me want to buy those shorts and get out on my bike
