DVD Ripping

I want to set up a mac mini media center in my living room.

What programs do you guys use to rip dvds. I have mac the ripper but I can’t figure out how to get them to rip to just a single file. I can only get them to rip as a dvd image.

VLC always crashes when I try to rip from it.

Any suggestions.

    lmao mac the ripper :P

    I used magic dvd ripper. Idk if it works no macs though.

    handbrake is good and easy.

    I’ve been experimenting with handbrake. Pretty straight forward. I am having trouble getting a good quality mp4. any suggested settings?

    I use aimersoft dvd ripper for mac, it works really nice
