The Watchmen is hands down one of the greatest graphic novels ever written. Most geeks agree its either the first or second best, only rivaled by The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller
I could not be more excited to see this. Though, it can easily be bad. The director said he is doing the same thing as he did 300, every shot will be like the scene in the comic book, and he isn’t removing anything. I don’t know how that will work for this, as the book is pretty long and jam packed with dialogue.

Edit: Night-Owl does look like batman, but acts nothing like him. Rorshach on the other hand, is like Bats' twin brother as far as schizophrenic emotional-problem-ridden super hereos go.

Even though I haaaaaaate the costume redesigns. Night-Owl’s ship does look badass. And the scene with DR. Manhatten and the crazy gear things is gorgeous. I really need to re-read this.

That looks like it’s going to be kick ass.
I love when they make movies of obscure comic book heroes. It seems like they end up doing amazing.
The Nite-Owl in this movie looks dangerously close to Batman, though. That’s kind of lame.
