So, I am not nearly as established as anyone on this site obviously, nor are my shirts as widely distributed, (only those few I've printed and sold on my own, maybe about 150 tops, plus Bear Hugs at DBH) but I have longed for the day that I would spot someone wearing one of my tees.
A few of my friends have mentioned seeing my bear shirt around, (a bunch of sightings during Bear Week in Provincetown) and once one of my hand printed tees. But today was the day! Or night I guess.
I'm a hostess in a restaurant and was just walking in front of 4 guys to seat them, and turned around as they were seating and I was all, oh shit. I literally said oh shit to these kids, (I work in a nice/sceney expensive restaurant in the South End of Boston with $600 bottles of champagne) and they were all "wot" (they were British) and I was all, nice shirt, and he was all, thanks I got it at this website, and I was all, yeah I know, I designed it. And he was so glad to meet me! He even asked to take a picture, which I thought was ridiculous but made me feel great all the same.
So yeah a small dream of mine came true today, and I am stoked. I thought I would share, I would love to hear similar stories

And yeah ,they were t-shirty kids I guess, one of the guys was wearing a threadless shirt and the other was wearing an all over print crossword shirt I've seen somewhere before. I wish he was hot, would have been the best in.

I was at Yale for a 3 week program and saw a kid wear the bear hugs shirt multiple times.
I tried to explain to him the concept of this sight but it went right over his head.
He loves DBH though, owns almost all the shirts hahaha

my mom saw my Talladega Nascar event tee at a local BBQ. that was kinda neat. cool that she recognized my design. no bear shirts though.

I've seen Charlize Theron in one of my shirts. She rarely brings any of her own when she comes to sleep over. But really i don't mind. Seriously though, given that all my designs are sold there in the US, i'd have no way of knowing if people actual wear it there. So if you see Charlize in one of 'em, please tell her I said hi and that I need my shirt back.

Wow, that's awesome. I sold alot of my designs I used to print to people at my work, so I see them all of the time. Most of the people at my work are retards though, so it's much less cool.

the first time i saw someone wearing one of my shirts i went up and told them i designed it.
they looked at me like i was the biggest retard.. so ive never done that again haha
but its such rewarding feeling to see someone wearing a shirt youve done!
