just putting it out there, that building looks REALLY unstable.
It does look unstable but It isnt really, if you think about the forces acting on it, if it was to have lateral force applied to it in any one direction it would be braced by the 90 degree angle of the other section, .Its weakest point would be at the bend in the bridge, if force was applied there diagnaly away from the two legs, thats where it would most likely fail, but the angle that the two legs rise up at would prevent it from falling over.
i drove by that thing in January, it wasnt finished, but it was f***ing gigantic. Those pictures dont do it justice. It is insane the amount of building going on in Beijing. High-rises going up everywhere you turn your head.

Dubai is doing some insane stuff right now too:
http://www.fahad.com/pics/dubai_rotating_building_1_lrg.jpg
thats an illustration of the same building at different times of day. each floor will be built to rotate independently from the others.
http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/8743/trumphoteldubai4pd.jpg
when finished that will be the tallest building in the world.
its an absolutely amazing city for architecture, just dont get caught with drugs or have sex with someone you arent married to!
