anyone else considering them, I highly recommend it.
sales were decent, nice paycheck for an old design.
also... they must be doing a great job with internet marketing.
they produced the same amount of traffic that shirt.woot.com to my website.
and shirt.woot.com supposedly has 75,000 to 150,000 hits.
my Agent Skully on DBH jumped about 15 votes.

all in all, tee fury gets my thumbs up.
they might be kicking woots ass in a couple years.

Thats cool to hear, Ive got a design going on sale there sometime soon; they seem like awesome guys.

Wow, thanks for the info dude. You are an Oracle.

they didnt necessarily tell me not to tell, but id rather not divulge the information.
noFunk:Wooord!
heavyprints: im a black woman who likes to bake cookies? ;P
just my opinion, GET IN NOW, cause once it gets going, I think theyll line up the artists and the competition to get printed will get more and more difficult.
it seems with all contest/tshirt sites, the earlier you get in the better.

Its a really well designed site and the partnership with DBH gives them a lot of cred. It does also have a lot of similarities to emptees.
I also was emailing the guy from teefury and he was saying you could submit stuff to them that are still currently up for voting in DBH and vice versa. Not sure that would work though. If you sell out on teefury, then why would DBH still print your design and sell it at $25 right?
About the traffic and sales, thats pretty surprising. I was expecting it might take a few weeks/months at least to get a decent amount of traffic. But I did notice DBH just sent their newsletter with a direct link to the teefury website. So that might have helped too.
About shirt.woot, Im still liking the $1,000 payment plus t-shirt sales. But teefurys none-ownership of your design could balance that out eventually if you could sell the design to another client.

well jimiyo it is looking pretty rad!
how many shirts did they print a day? i was looking at the stock meter and it seemed to go more then 3/4 down, but i couldnt figure out how much that was.

AJ: aye. DBH did them well. its symbiotic. also i noticed ALOT of the woot crew who are driven by low cost leader sales, might be adding teefury as another one of their markets to look for good buys.
IMO
creating the notion for the markets to think that an artist is popular or famous only helps to drive sales. so having the artists work be promoted elsewhere will only help to drive that artist persona.
as far as DBH and TeeFury printing the same design, i would stay away from that. unless DBH has some plan. like pretesting sales. but i wouldnt think that would be true.
shirt.woot. is nice.
as far as reselling the designs, i think it could help if you can be like... yes, i sold X through a special limited outlet, and it sold well.
but id rather retire a design once its sold.
Andrew: ha. looking pretty rad. its just the continuous visibility. im no more awesome than someone who puts out one design. its the repetition that makes me seem like i got stuff going on.
