Personally, if it's a valid criticism then it is appreciated and noted for future use. For example, on my first shirt at TeeFury there were complaints that men liked the women's colors better or vice versa. It's about giving artists of different styles & backgrounds the chance to not only have their work created and available to the masses, but also for others to gain knowledge of who is out there creating art. I think most people here would defend teefury and its selection of artists/designs, but there will always be those of us who disagree with the selections from time to time. I personally can't become emotionally vested in an argument that ultimately serves no purpose but sap my strength. I've only ever left a couple of comments on teefury and that was for Popmonkey's Tierra de los Perdidos/Sleestak tee (which I loved). The majority of times I avoid the arguments because they never end. Having a negative opinion doesn't necessarily make someone a hater. It seems alot of the thread crappers come from shirt.woot. They handle it differently, they usually come in with a heavy swoop of moderation and erase most overly negative comments. Typically they call the vocal community, the vocal minority, as what they say, typically isnt necessarily true.. which is understandable. They have no access to the sales data. So although they may hate shirt with X, X might actually sell really well. It's almost a balancing act of listening to the community, but also, being strong in decision, and going for it regardless of the vocalized opinions, etc. It's been a fun experience.
