So I'd been working on ideas and tee designs for an upcoming local Oktoberfest. I've designed two German inspired designs which are below. I was also going to include my other designs in my line. I contacted them 3 months ago and talked to a dude that seemed very excited about my involvement and led me to believe that I was secured a spot. So last week I got a booth request form that was supposed to be just a formality, so I filled it out sent it in. Today I find out I've been REJECTED because the arts and crafts chair person brought up concerns about my designs and deemed my t-shirt designs "inappropriate." Needless to say I'm pissed because I've been led on for so long thinking everything was lined up and good to go, but also because all the other venders are junk vendors. They're selling stupid tie-dyed t-shirts, jewelry, calendars.... just a bunch of junk! So I try to do something in the spirit of the festival and I'm rejected!
