Childhood Stuffed Toys

posted 3 months ago by Ameeee

POST YOURS!!

I recently introduced the newest addition to the rest of the family. I picked Florence the Cat from Camden Markets in London. She’s from a quirky range of Internet Dating Rejects!

Paddington, Sooty and Pooh were more than happy to pose for photos.

I don’t have it anymore but me and the crew would make and play with These
Note this is just a google pic, but I swear I really did have one.
Kind of hard to see, but its a wire frame car made of wire and coke cans for wheels, the steering attaches to the front axel, and its all the fun or RC without the cost of batteries.

(I think I could still make one with a little practice, think there is a market for them anywhere)

I also made bow and arrows, and sling shots, and slings the goliath killing kind.

Most of the entertainment came from climbing trees and harassing the local wild life.

I got a dog thing the day I was born. Its mostly plastic with like a tiny bit of padding and then like a soft finish. It used to bark and walk and wag its tail.
22 years later I still have it but it no longer works and has a button for an eye. Looks a bit tatty :-(
I would take a photo and share it with you all but I am at work and do not have the Internet at home. One day maybe you will all be privelaged enough to see it. One day.

The only stuffed toys I really remember having was an Ewok and a giant stuffed Michelangelo from TMNT.

Other than that, it was a ton of x-men action figures.

Yep, thats him.. my brother used to turn off the lights and slam the door shut with Spike and myself in the same room... Why I never turned the lights on is still a running through my mind.
