Here’s why my friend. Politics, in general, is always an argument waiting to happen. We as a society are never going to agree on the same views and end up saying, oh hey we should vote for this guy. If you haven’t noticed, every post on this site that deals with either candidate has resulted in some sort of argument/heavy discussion. If you noticed in this thread already...One of the first things that happened on this thread was Stephen telling a dude to "suck his dick." Over what? Preference...that’s rediculous (no low blow to you stephen). I love cherry pop-tarts but I’m not gonna tell someone to blow my nuts because they don’t.
I haven’t come on here posting who I’m voting for because frankly...I don’t fucking care what you or anybody has to say about either candidate. I’m gonna vote for who I want to vote for.
The reason why this aggravated me so much is because it is insane to think a man is the lesser candidate over a god damn plane. Focus on what they stand for instead. This goes for either candidate. Its like the Middle School petty bullshit of not liking someone because they dress or act different then you. If you knew the person and what they stood for you might think different.
And also...the reason why I don’t mind what Jimmy writes is because his posts are actually well thought out, he never posts anything irrational like Jon had (that isn’t a poke at Jon from FTSK either because he truly is a nice guy)....so don’t treat my good friend like hes this big oaf that doesn’t know anything and doesn’t have a life...you don’t know him, he’s very intelligent and he’s the life of most parties.

In actuality, I actually have lots of respect for not only Sen. Obama, but also Sen. McCain. It took me quite a while before I decided which candidate from the Democrat party to support. After extensive research on both of the front runners and reading Obama’s books, it was Obama’s views on immigration reform that hooked me.
As for McCain, I also am continuing to research his viewpoints and plans for our country if he is elected President. I also respect his past actions in support of immigration reform and his stance on it as well. When I read said blog about the hullabaloo over Obama "painting over" the American flag, I was just so disgusted that someone actually based their views on him over something as silly as painting a plane when they didn’t research the entire incident. Frankly, at this point in the race, I think both Sen. McCain and his supporters are becoming huge crybabies about the amount of positive attention that Sen. Obama is receiving and are doing their best to make him look bad with no real credibility.
In my statement earlier, I stated that I doubted that anyone minus Jimmie would vote. I stand corrected. I retract said statement, but in a fit of immature disgust towards McCain supporters I blurted out obscenities that were uncalled for. But do I retract them, no I don’t. If it bothers people that I made such a statement and they decide to react in a similarly vulgar manner, so be it.
btw... if Johnny Cupcakes were running for President, I would gladly vote for him. Thank you for reading this.
