Dude, you’ve been talking about this for a while. You need to go to that artists you were raving about in emptees chat a couple months back. It’s not crazy and unheard of for someone to save money, travel to wherever your favorite artist is and get tattooed. I totally think you should do it and you will ultimately be way happier than settling with a local artist.

i have no tattoos and I am a bit weary on getting some because I get bored with things very easily and I KNOW that I will get tried of a permanent design on my body very very fast

Hey thomas has a good point. But this is actually why i can’t stand LA ink or Miami ink. I don’t want to hear your sob story. I just want some badass killer tattoo work.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t get a tattoo if its just a cool image, or something along those lines... im just saying I really hate it when we are sitting around talking and we get on the subject of tattoos and people are all, "ohhh I am so getting one but I have no idea what I want" or hanging out in the shop I go to and all the shoeby goobtingles going, "wow thats so cool, I want it, or how about this, or how about this". Just saying take the time to appreciate what your getting, don’t just do it because everyone else is getting one.
A friend of mine has a squirrel on his thigh reaching for his nut sack, one of the funniest tattoos I have seen in person... do it have any deeper meaning? No. Does that make it any less kick ass of a tattoo? No.

baxter is the shit, although i’m a huge fan of american traditional dirty vintage rustic tattoos that hold up for a lifetime.
baxter’s style just puts me off as far as getting the work done because i’m afraid if what it’ll look like in 10 years.
but he’s a top notch artist.
