wait and bleed was quite possibly the worst song on one of my favorite albums of all time. SIC is by far my favorite slipknot song. I love their softer stuff on the new album as well, corey’s got an awesome singing voice. the great thing about the first album was that it was recorded with minimul mastering, the drums were a horrible birch kit, it just made the whole album sound more thrash and I loved it for that, their new stuff is just too overproduced (in the music mastering side of things) to be my favorite stuff from them.

Slipknot are bad ass and everyone knows it. They’re one of those bands that people think it’s 'cool to dislike', but they’re actually ace.
Also, the new stuff sounds nothing like their old. They use blast beats in the new stuff!!!
The only time they’ve used them before was on Wait And Bleed.
