then maybe one of you can help me anyway...
how can I speed up a video of 1 hour 53 minutes long to a 3:38 minutes long? does anyone remember old Benny Hill gag? I need something like that. oh, and I need to know how can I add some music to the 'short' version of the video :]
    thanks!

the only application installed on my computer is iMovie... :[ sigh!

iMovie works well. Should come with the Mac if you have/or get one.
    Final Cut
or Premiere, would be the top choice. I would go with final cut, because it has motion 3, great for all that bells and whistles zippy who ha, you see on the T.V.

close up of some luscious flesh that look like 36DD, only to realize its some dudes ass when they pan out?

i use Premiere. decent. that time reduction thing is simple to do in it...

after effects is more for motion graphics and effects though.
but all you want to do is add a song and speed up the video? you can do that in imovie for sure

I wish I could do any of this too. I can’t even do a screen capture, because nothing recognizes the cintiq. No clue how to do a tutorial like this one.

Ugh. If you clicked the link and read around abit, you’d see that apple allows all legit ilife 08 customers a free download of ilife 06 (due to 08's high system requirements).

Alternately, you could just get an external program to use to speed up the video. Than resave and import to imovie 08?
