Washington D.C.

I’m going there tomorrow to spend the day and go to museums and such. Is there anything else besides memorials etc. to do in D.C.? Any good sushi restaurants or venues to see a band?

   Teaism! awesome sushi/japanese tea place.
   venues are 9:30 Club and i used to go to nation, but they got shut down.
   make sure you hit up the hershorn, it’s the modern art museum. i live like an hour away from DC.

   Amen to the 9:30 club. And don’t forget the National Gallery of Art! It’s free and it’s got the only Leonardo in the US, not to mention a ton of other famous works, and not so famous but equally amazing works. Definitely a second home for me there. (I live 30 minutes outside of DC)

   I could spend days in the National Gallery. You definitely have to go there, beautiful museum. And all of the Smithsonian museums are pretty fun to go to, and free.

   See if the Muppet exhibit is still there... opened in mid July. Was pretty awesome with lots of cool info. I had no idea that Jim Henson started out as a graphic artist in college.

   that would be AWESOME! when i was in DC i had a lot of fun. they had the hope diamond on display and i was totally let down by how not awesome that thing was.
