HTML Shopping Cart Inquiry

posted 10 months ago by FuzzyInk

We at Fuzzy InkFuzzy Ink currently use a completely flash shopping cart, but we are thinking about making the transition over to HTML.

I have searched the community posts and done a google search for shopping carts, but I am curious to see what people are currently using these days. What provides the most options, compatible with Authrozie.net, quick loading, etc.

SourceForge.net usually has a good selection of open source shopping carts, I’d give that a look.

Thanks Rusty. Considering that your smiling icon is burned in my memory at this point, I’ll have to at least get your name sometime.

I’d like to know too . . . cuz at the moment I’m only using paypal buttons and would really like to be able to set up discount codes . . . I was testing zen cart earlier . . . but for some reason it confused me too much . . .

    magento
    oscommerce
    zencart
    x-cart
    wp-ecommerce (wordpress plugin)

I’ve at least messed with all of these. I am currently using Wp-Ecommerce with Quixotic.

We have decided to go with Zencart, as it does offer a great selection of options.

We use ProductCart on our website, it’s kind of expensively not free, but it has a ton of options and a good apparel add-on for clothing companies.
I’ve been more than happy with it.
