Opacity problems...

posted 2 months ago by Master_Control

I’m hoping someone has had this similar problem so they can help me out.

Occasionally when I’m working in photoshop, objects will be semi transparent even when fill and opacity are at 100%. Even when I select the pixels and create a layer mask attempting to fill them, they still end up being semi transparent. I dump a shit load of color in using the paint bucket and eventually it because solid. It’s very frustrating and I can’t identify the source of the problem.

Yea the only thing I could come up with is your opacity is screwy either in your fill settings or your brush settings. I’m not sure what else it could be.

    Did you check here also?

i haven’t checked there, so i’ll have to do that.

it’s not happening with brushes though. it’s almost always with rastersized(sp?) shapes and such.
