I think bigcartel should have....

Who doesn’t love big cartel? It’s free/cheap, a great interface and brilliant coding, but do you sometimes think. hmm, do you think bigcartel needs something else? missing pieces of an awesome puzzle? just a little thing to talk about

   I haven’t used Big Cartel but from the looks of it, it provides many features. Especially now that you can customize all that sweet CSS coding whatnot.

   Is paypal your only option as far as payment goes? Or do they allow you to have your own merchant..gateway..stuff too? If they don’t.. maybe that.

   I think the stores still running on the old system don’t have larger pictures, but the newer stores do.

   branson - you’re able to accept credit card w/o having a paypal account (but i think you know that)
   but other than that idk about merchant gateways

   They changed their view source code thing - which I fully respect when someone has spent forever coding something to look bad-ass only for someone to come along and jack bits and pieces of it, but for html-inept people like myself it was a bit of a pain in the ass.. I think Big Cartel having a few templates of example stores to help people learn would be super helpful.

   Yeh it’s pretty easy to figure out - it’s just when you see something awesome it’s hard to get your head around how it’s done sometimes.. I’m all for hard work and figuring it out myself, but sometimes code is such a pain in the ass to tweak.. one wrong forward-slash and you’re a dead-man.

   JK! We need a new store to accompany our new site in a few weeks, and as I’m cartelleraly retarded and can’t even center a background I’m thinking we should have you code it up for us! If you’re up for it of course man, there’s some sweet moolah in it for you if you are!
