Missed Connections/Craigslist

A very sad person.

Not really, but I just posted a missed connection on craigslist for the first time. I know a few people with success stories about it, I’m just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the matter. I guess it works out more in urban areas but yea

   hey dont diss C-list. i hooked up with a really nice midget as well as super babe, although unfortunately she was a dominant, so she just had me arrange her cdees in alphabetical order while she berated me with verbal abuse and throwing candy nerds at me... which you know... at the time, i was experimental. it was a good experience.

   i think missed connections is just a way for people to romanticize about hot people they saw somewhere, but they have no real intention of ever pursuing the matter even if it was possible. its sometimes better to live in a fantasy, cause reality, and real people, usually suck.

    When I was living in San Francisco, I had about 4 that I saw. They were mostly after I met someone and didn’t get a phone number, but twice, just from making realy strong eye contact on the bus/train. I never really respond to them, unless i feel it’s really worth it, but I just wonder where it could possibly go from there.

    It’s probably more about the person posting it, than it is about finding the other person who it’s about.

    Yeah, I don’t think I would ever actually post one if it was some one I had very strong chances of seeing again. I’m not sure if that’s more for embarrassment’s sake or just that I am actually endowed with some social grace and wouldn’t need the internet to hide behind if it were a sure thing. More just a silly egotistical indulge. And I am all about that.

    Most dudes I think are smokin upon first sight turn out to be total douches anyway!
