Messenger Bags

There’s another post already about wholesale bags, but I didn’t feel like resurrecting it, as I’m just looking for one bag. [It was also 9 months old]

I can’t find anything for a decent price [under $60] and still with a decent, simplistic look.

It doesn’t seem reasonable to pay $65 for a Manhattan Portage messenger bag.

Does anyone here print on some decent messenger bags, or know of any good looking, decent brands for a reasonable price?

   i’d suggest find a company that makes bags you really like, and contact them about setting up a wholesale account, or find a distributor who sells them

   I’m not looking for wholesale. Another person was, but it was 9 months old. Resurrecting it for finding one bag would have been pointless, and annoying.

   hey dude i print on messenger bags at work for bands i work with.. i use anvil #405.. if you go on www.virginiats.com you can find it in there and they cost less than $15

    What bands do you print for?
    I’m kind of liking those bags, but the plain colors don’t look too great.

    i print for alot of local bands.. Ships and sailors, with life in mind, the climb. hot damn, kiss the sky, and alot of others.. also eskimo clothing and eternal clothing
    my clothing line Lower Level Clothing sponsors these bands, evergreen terrace, heavy heavy low low, national product, ships and sailors, emarosa, agraceful and a few others will be coming soon, like sky eats airplane, and august burns red. just waiting to get more shirts in..

    Ah, What’s I’d give to get my hands on an Agraceful one. All of their designs are incredible. But, they don’t do shows up here. Kind of sucks.

    one of the advantages of being in this business is that you don’t actually have to want a wholesale account to call and buy a 'sample'.

    also, check out crumbler. they aren’t the super-coolest but they are a little cheaper

    Just to clarify, I’m just looking for something I can use to carry stuff around in, but not have to have an actual backpack. Just something stylish, rather than big.

    I don’t know what more you are looking for. Everyone has given you a variety of bags to choose from. From way expensive to way cheap. Maybe there is just nothing that will fit what you want? Big, nice and cheap don’t go together.

    If you see the bag I posted a couple up, I’m looking for something like that.

    Seeing as UO has bags for $68, I’m assuming that the one above will be between $50 - $60. Which is acceptable.

    I however, have no clue as to anyone that prints on them, or where to find them, or anything close to that style.

    Yes. I’m not looking for an actual "messenger" bag, like Chrome.

    every bag is $40 and is the same design. water-resistant, at strap that extends 50", and five additional pockets besides the main compartment. there are over 15 street signs to choose from, but they won’t be available until the end of the month.

    freitag makes the most legit bags. too spendy for my poor ass, but if i had the budget i would for sure get one of those.

    i have a samsonite bag that i dumpstered. it works better than my 90 OGIO bag.

    since i live in SF now, i’m think of getting a chrome bag since it’s a local company and i’m all about supporting the locals. plus i hear nothing but good things about them.
