I can watch just about any movie without crying. However in the movie Rudy when all the players put their jerseys on the coaches desk I always choke up a little.
explodingtoes said: movies where dogs die
i cant think of any at the moment
but that always gets me
yea, Im soft for dogs too, you can kill just about anything else, even kids, and it doesnt bug me as much as seeing a dog die. I thought i was the only one! I Am Legend was sad as fuck when that German Shepard died. :(
Im weird. I can turn myself off and sit there like a piece of marble and be unaffected by almost anything. (I say almost b/c when i visited my dad in the hospital after open heart surgery i fuckin balled) But I can also let the smallest things penetrate deep into my brain and jumble my emotions.
trying to think of movies that have given me a good shake.

naw man when he came running out on the field for the 1st time then making the sack how can any sports fan not tear up.
there was also a espn documentary about a kid with down syndrome that wanted to wrestle on his High School varsity team. Showed up to every practice for all 4 years of High School and at the final matches of his senior year the coach let him wrestle in a official competition until they found out the only wrestler available was the #2 ranked wrestler in the state at 76-0. The 76-0 wrestler agreed to wrestle the kid and the coaches from the other side told him to just play with him for a minute or two then pin him and hell be so excited just to have had his dream happen he wont care about losing. So the match begins and the guy lets the kid toss him around a bit and score some points then gets the kid in a few moves where he got out of them and showed off for the crowd at the high school gym. Then out of nowhere the undefeated wrestler lets the kid pin him and he loses the match. The look on the crowds face and half of them in tears because theyve just witnessed something that most people would never give up especially at a young age. He gave up the chance to go undefeated (Which he only lost that 1 match the entire 4 years in High School and later on 15 matches in college) all so a kid with Down Syndrome could live out his dream. Oh man just thinking about it now makes me tear up! Sports stories get me really bad.
