You can use a program called Pages instead of Word on there, but you can export the files as a work document.
And that’s a great deal. I’d go for it!

Yeah, but if you don’t want to pay for the Office Suite, you can use some programs already on the Mac and just export it.

Yeah they do sell Macs (in the UK) at pc world. Not they try to sell them very well, i asked a sales assistant how a mac differs from a pc and they said they look "pretty" but thats about it!!

I got the 24" and I love it! It works so nicely with CS3. Also, if you do freelance on it, you can write it off come tax season. I basically got my computer for $200 after writing off a big portion of it.
Once you go mac you never go back. Or something. /lame

Go with the Mac Pro. iMacs are stationary and powerful, but mac pros are just as stationary, and heads and shoulders above the rest. worth the cost if you ask me

You know why they are sold out? Because they are selling on ebay for about 700-800£ each, who wouldn’t of baught them all if they had the chance? no small retailer could get a deal like that even at wholesale prices!

Internal speakers are ok, but if you plan on watching movies or want to listen to your music a little louder you might want to get external speakers. JBL makes some good ones.

With the Mac you can get a word document program called Iworks. It IS compatible with Windows, and you CAN export word documents, but only to a certain edition of word.. 2004 and later I think.
You can however just get Office 2008 for Mac. Compatible with Iworks and all office editions. Mac or Pc.

I have no control over Firefox.. That’s something I’m not too sure on. Try a different Ipod cable and try it in all of the Usb ports. If that fails.. Try a firewire cable.. If that fails.. Blame your Ipod.

I got 2 Update Leopard disks ive used both i was just wounding if i could sell one . But it seems ok.
