haha, they cant be much worse than what ez used to say to me
i did saturday on there. it was gooder than sunday.
make sure you have some dirt-cheap offering on there. those fuckers in the comment room come easily with insults and barbs. everyone on there seems only to be looking for $10 or less offerings and if you don’t have that, they have little nice to say. i have seen them totally slam some shops with completely good designs and even with charity based goals.
the first time they were mean as hell (even though we made like 20+ sales), but i think that was because i linked directly to the sale items which are admittedly not as cool as the newer items. i suppose most thought that was all we had to offer. the second time there was mostly good comments and even better sales.
i should clarify that the second time we linked to the whole catalog (not just sale items), had a bigger selection of more designs that were $10 or less AND offered a coupon discount for %15 off to top it off.
i just realized you did it already… but funny how i was spot on about them being a bunch of pricks in the comments. i love getting on there, but the comment room is just a fire pit of hell… unless you offer tees for a dollar.

I dunno, I get usually all positive stuff. One or two negatives over my whole exp.

sure. you prolly had a good deal to offer and good work but its all about cheap with that crowd. but even when the comments are good… like you say… there will still be 2 dudes in there saying its the worst they have ever seen. i don’t care about negative feedback, but it should be constructive.

Hey Jon, how did this go? Huge boost in traffic and comments about shirts being too expensive Im guessing?
Jon Kruse said about 1 month ago
Exactly.
First three comments were about how my shirts were the worst shirts they have ever seen. It was great for me ego.
From what I heard from others I was expecting some pretty big sales, but it ended up being just a better than average day. Tons of traffic though.

Really? I had an awesome run my last woot day, actually my best day.
Go Ape Shirts said about 1 month ago
Yeah I had the same experience, sales-wise
Truman325i said about 1 month ago
So how many sales are you guys putting up? If you dont mind asking? Maybe my shirts just hit that demographic a bit better?
Jon Kruse said about 1 month ago
I had 6 sales, 2 of them came the day after. I did 15% off and people were still complaining about my price.

Actually got a solid boost in sales this time :)
Jon Kruse said about 1 month ago
Awesome did you do anything special?
Go Ape Shirts said about 1 month ago
No. The guy who built my webpage left me with a broken coupon code box. I have no idea how to make it work.
