This might be a stupid question...

...but I’ve ordered some Glamourkills stuff about 5 weeks ago (US->Belgium) and a week later I ordered some Electric Zombie and Jimmy’s shirt of the Month. The Zombie and Jimmy came in 2 weeks ago (10 days shipping) but there’s still no sign from my Glamourkills, after mailing to their orders section they told me it shipped off. Is 5 weeks like really late (my other GK shipment was here in 10 days). Now in case this doesn’t arrive anywhere soon, can anyone explain me what the standard procedure is? 'cause I paid 65$ for the whole thing, and I really want it...

    thing is I already did after 3 weeks, they said it might take 4 to 5 weeks to arrive, but shipments never took that long, will they re-send stuff? Take my word for granted that things didn’t arrive?

    i think ( non of my next words may be true)

    it depends on postage if they offered insurance and you turned it down and they prove they have there postage receipts its your fault

    if they didnt offer insurance and you say it hasnt arrived i think its there fault

    no idea though hats just general nothing specific to GK

    sometimes things can just get held up in customs - depending on the shipping method used they may or may not be able to track it.

    got an email 2 weeks ago from them that they can’t track it, so and i quote: 'We are not able to give tracking information for over-seas orders and it may take up to a month to arrive due to carry over and customs delays...GK'

    I’ll just wait this out for up to one or maybe two weeks and then ask them how we can solve it?

    it all depends on how quickly they fill the plane with US mail to belgium.

    A few months ago, I sold three shirts to a kid in Slovenia. They took over a month to arrive. The PO wouldnt help me since the package was sent first class internat’l (cust didnt want to pay priority) and they couldn’t track it, but sure enough, they made it over there.

    Again, they wont send a shipment until they have enough freight to justify sending. Hang tight, they’ll get there.

I just had a really bad experience, I bought a shirt from a store online, but the basket thing wasnt working, so I ordered the shirt through the contact us form, paid them, and they said they’d send it off the next morning. A week later I emailed them to ask where it was and they said they hadnt sent it because I hadnt specified what size I wanted, regardless of the fact that I did, why did they wait for me to email them before they told me why they just took my money for nothing in return? Anyways, I get the size sorted and they sent it off the next day, the day after that I get it in the post. I paid £4 postage and when I get it through the door the postage sticker on it says £1.75 postage... I dont usually swear, but... fuckers.

    I actually like quite a lot of the stuff in their store too but I dont think Ill be going back.

    That’s usual for shipping costs.
    Packaging, tape, paper, printer ink, wear and tear on the printer, the time it takes to package, all of these things should be factored into the shipping costs.

    i bought a hat from them, then i got an email the next day saying that the hat was out of stock in my size, exchanged a handful of emails with them, couple days later they sent out a more expensive hat to replace it.
    awesome!

    Everything I’ve ever ordered from Johnny Cupcakes arrived next day. Shipping is high (and I am in-state) but I’ve used UPS ground; he makes less than a dollar in excess to the cost of shipping on the freight he charges.

    He does a LOT of volume, and regardless I always get a sysgen email with a tracking number and ample access to customer service should I need it.

    Kind of weird that they can’t do any kind of tracking. Can’t they look it up with the customs number? It doesn’t show tracking but it tells you if it has been delivered or not.

    well i sure hope it will be in THIS week, 'cause I might be going to going to the TMF (MTV Belgium/Holland) Awards down here as a VIP and doing the red carped and I wanna rep' one of the GK shirts I ordered, would be awesome.
