I want to start utilizing the Rotation tool in CS4, but it does not work because openGL is not enabled. When I try and go to preferences in photoshop and then performance, it wont let me toggle on the "enable openGL box. By the way, I'm using a 2.2GHz Macbook Pro Santa Rosa, not the new unibody ones. Is there anyway I can fix this? My friends older macbook pro can rotate canvas but mine cannot... so I have no idea what is wrong. I'm working on mine right now and I have a few websites I've done along with some mocks up sites that I want to display, but I don't know what is most effective, whether it be just a screen shot of the site or 2-4 close up images of the site. Also for print work, I want to display the actual print along with a macro type picture that has depth of field, like this <img src="http://www.gomediazine.com/wp-content/images/2009/04/catfish-mock.jpg" /> I want to do this because much what I designed is not printed or I don't have the actual print. The above picture I posted is from Gomediazines latest post and Jeff said that he created that effect using photoshop. I tried playing around with it, using layer masks and lens blurs but I'm retarded and still having trouble finding the right way to transform the picture... Some examples of what you all may think would be best would be great too. I have a header on a wordpress site I'm working on that has an image for the background but also the image blends or gradates into the background color, which is a medium gray. background: #CCCCCC url('images/header.jpg') center no repeat; My problem is that, on Safari, it looks exactly the way it should, where my header image color matches the #CCCCCC, but on Firefox (I haven't tested IE yet...) the colors of the image are a bit washed out, so it does not match the CCCCCC. I checked the color profiles on my header image and it is sRGB so no color profile attached. Pretty much on firefox, the colors blend perfectly when I use C1C1C1. I loaded the site on both FF and Safari and put the windows right next to each other, and CCCCCC look exactly the same, so the problem lies within the image I think. How can I fix this problem? It's really frustrating and I'm also having a hard time finding a solution on google, so I thought I'd have better luck here.
