Someone from Time In Malta recently described to me the San Diego Crimson Curse scene as "Spock Rock." actually, any greasy dyed black hair. Bangs in front and spikes in back is very emo too. horn-rim glasses, or at least thick black frames. bald head, furry face (boys only). Goes especially well with horn-rims. heavy slacks, often too tight and short. thin, too-small polyester button-ups in dark colors, or threadbare children's size t-shirts with random slogans. Button the collar if you got one. clunky black shoes scarves gas station jackets. This has diffused a lot over the years though, it's no longer exclusive to emo kids. Nowadays, you may want to select a nice corduroy denim jacket. also classic outerwear but quickly diffusing to normality: the famous Blue Peacoat barrettes on boys make-up (male or female) too-small cardigans and v-neck sweaters argyle anorexic thinness. I should have posted who had who weeks ago, but I've been trying to deal with a severe series of viruses, and I've just been running around all over the place. I would post who had who, but Notepad's been deleted along with Wordpad, and any other program I could open up the documents I had with. Notepad's been deleted along with Photoshop, Wordpad, Windows Media Player, Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, iTunes, Winzip, Winrar, Roxio Easy CD/DVD Creator, lost fuction of MS Prompt, and Run, and the list goes on and on. Some system files are infected as well, but they're whitelisted, and some have just been moved to a vault for now. How should I go about repairing this? Could I do it myself from home with a system recovery? I'm really tight on cash (as I'm sure most of us are here) and I can't really afford a hefty repair fee. I basically want to keep my files, or at least my music and .psd files, and clean slate XP. I can't find my installation disc, either, which rules. Any antivirus suggestions for after all of this is said and done would be grand, too. Oh, and on top of everything, I have a handful of projects due this week and next, so I need to somehow get this up and functioning asap.
