They both have very sensitive stomachs and it has been hard finding food to control this and the hairball problem. Both cats have long hair and lots of it! I have tried many cat foods that claim to have hairball remedies but they have never worked. I slowly introduced my cats to your food and they have been eating it for about 2 months now. During the pet food scare, I was feeding him Purina Indoor Formula, but all of a sudden, he had a problem...he would use the litter box way too often, and seemed to strain to urinate, excreting very little. I was very worried and wondered if the food had anything to do with it. So I went to my favorite Pet Supplies Plus store and browsed for a new food for him. It just so happened on that day there was a sale on large bags of Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul on an end-cap in the store and I stopped to read the bag. I was impressed with the ingredients, and that it was formulated with low Magnesium for urinary tract health and very good protein sources. I decided to try it and see if it made a difference. Wow, did it ever! First, I hardly had to open the bag...he helped, and couldn't wait to get into it. Within a couple of days his urinary problems were over, then I also noticed later that his fur was not stiff anymore, but very soft. He is a Siamese mix, and a beautiful cat, and have never had to change foods again...he still helps open every new bag, and loves it! He and I are very happy with your product, and even though it is a bit more than some other brands, the care you put into it is more than worth the cost, and is appreciated by me and my most loyal companion. I will be asking the store to stock your canned food also, as well as your dental treats...I need to try those out. I give him canned food as well, about a can a day, and treats on rare occasions, but he is a bit overweight and have just switched to the light formula, and he likes that as well.
