This is a WIP for shirts for ROFLCon, by Team Fantastic Bonanza.
We know that the text needs work, and that 'ROFLCON' isn’t heavy enough. Here are 3 tpefaces that we’ve been mulling over:

2 browns. It lifts the space dude with the flag in the corner better. The type doesn’t bother me one bit. Good work Joe, or team Joe.

Team Fantastic Bonanza! I feel like Synchro (the typeface made of dots) isn’t balanced with '2008', and that it won’t be readable from afar. What do you think?

I really want to go to roflcon but I am too poor. I was thinking about posting an ad on craigslist saying that I am a beautiful lady who likes webcomics and thus would be an excellent date, who would only require the registration fee in exchange for accompaniment and pithy yet friendly conversation.
But yeah, nice shirt. I agree with what you say about that type face, even though you use less red throughout the design (as opposed to the yellow of 2008) my eye still goes to 2008 first instead of roflcon. The design still definitely works as a whole, but if the type is bothering you I would play around with it and maybe even switch the two fonts between 2008 and roflcon. Ya know. It looks very neato though. I just wrote some paragraphs!
