Preposterous! Playing around with some watercolor stock I made. I see the black (speech bubble, crown) being flocked.

what do you guys search to get photos like these? I can never find them! The only thing I would work on is the type. That solid black around it pulls my eyes away from the faces to much.

hmm, thanks for the crit, I do have to work on my typography! I'll be taking a class next semester solely on that, so that should help!

hmm to find stuff like this, it's pretty tough, I wonder how other people find some of their old illustration stuff, but some good words would be "victorian", "engraving" (or any variation of that), "wood cut print", or just "old", and "antique". ;)
