TShirt designed for my new band as promo. Nothing too special. After talking with a few strangers and friends, I decided on a doodle-ish look.
All hand drawn in Illustrator and colored in Photoshop. Still needs some work, such as a suitable font.
All critiques are welcome, as this is my first shirt.

I think you could push this a bit further..perhaps you could hand trace this design back into Photoshop - just so the curves and lines were less perfect?
Either that, or reduce the image by a 1/3 placing it over the right side of the chest and make the band name a real focus - and play around with some typography. Like the snakey creature can be eating the name or sommit.

I was thinking about the worm eating the name, but I’m not sure how to approach it.
I kind of wanted to rush the end to get it up here for some creative direction.
And by less perfect you mean?
And, to reduce the image, I’d redrawing the worm, because it wouldn’t fit tee right, I don’t think.

Hey so I kind of hijacked the design and changed it a fair bit..it’s very sloppy/unfinished - but just went with a "snakes in a mother f***king plane" kind of vibe..that’s just a dodgy webdings plane.
I didn’t do anything with the creature..but I reckon you could make it a whole lot meaner with bigger teeth...and maybe reducing the length of worm would help - to give idea of length just adjust the perspective..

I think it was Berlin Sans Demi Bold - I can’t exactly remember because I converted it to outlines and then 3D’d it etc. I got it for free with a magazine - but from a quick google I think you can get it here for free

I might play around with your bands name and come up with my own design too. I need a project to work on. If you like it, you can have it to use.

I may stick with your idea. I’m still trying to incorporate that cloud somehow. Maybe a cleaner cloud though.
I’m not sure. And, bright colors to stick with the overly cute Japanese trend going on.

This is just a mockup. I’m in the process of getting a tablet to draw it out with my hand.
The new design consists of the cloud, but one of the trails of the cloud, are actually a hand. It’s grabbing the plane, and the worm is coming from the plane, and engulfing the band name "From The Passenger Seat"
A combination of the two.
I will also do a limited print [25] of the ORIGINAL design.
I’ll keep you posted. It will be within the next 2 weeks.

Chris, you need to make the cloud more sharp.
Dont use the pen tool, use circles.
Make the drips using the rouded boxes and if the bottem isn’t
rounded use a circle.
Also make the lines thicker and yeah.
