ok..
so my first 'real' design job was designing baseball cards for Topps. the last set i worked on before quiting was 57 cuts (as in 1957). I made this design shortly after (it has 57 knives with blood on the last..57 cuts 'killed' me). the quote says 'while you slept in my life became an odd number' because i felt like my friends were enjoying their lives (sleeping in) while i worked this thankless job (i became the odd number).
i’m glad someone finally gave me a reason to explain this haha.

i’ve seen a lot of designs with daaggers, but this is definitely one of the better ones. nice piece. what’s it say on the wearer’s top right?
