Pitch for Paint The Stars

still puttin in some finishing touches but I would love some feedback!

EDIT: this was recently rejected so design is up for grabs... any necessary adjustments will be made...

    It’s way too literal for PTS, they told me to avoid using Stars or Painting or any combination of the two.

    the style of the text and the image don’t mesh well in my head. I know it’s supposed to be the whole paint idea, but I hate seeing very clean lines so segregated from those that are more free form, it doesn’t let the design as a whole integrate, andsections it off into picture versus text instead of one cohesive image.

    Thank You! I love constructive criticism!!! however I dont get what you mean by the clean lines being segregated from free form, this is all hand drawn. im assuming u mean the image itself appears "cleaner" then the type? I feel like the top feels "empty" in comparison the the bottom I was gonna add some stars and cosmic elements to kinda balance it but again thanks for the critique!

    I cant see them liking it really bud, I think they are alittle more into spoof shirts nowadays in a way...more tongue in cheek, but its a nice enough concept.

    Spoof shirts?! Why I orta! We’re artists don’t you know.. we bleed passion! It’s just pure coincidence that a lot of our designs stem from ridiculous 80's references and things we find funny like hair-metal..

    Hmm.. you’re probably right actually dude!

    Cool design by the way Lito, just as I said the literal thing is something we try to steer clear of, its still real nice though!
