new clothing company (name is undecided at this point) asked me to make em this design.
rising sun, pagoda with 'kamikaze' planes flying in...with a spray paint effect to the planes...
EDIT:
sent over this and a few other versions, and this is the one they chose. (one no white, one grunged edges, one faded out, one circle faded etc.) they saw the first mockup and decided they wanted 'kamikaze' down the middle with the font from the mock.
(its called Hirosh, for those who want it)
thanks for the suggestions guys!
(honestly, not my favorite stuff. but it pays the billz)
EDIT 2:
their name has been decided.
*sigh
kill your scene.
i see these dudes making 4 shirts total.
and selling 0.

Solid idea, but Id get rid of the frame on the outside, extend the rays further, and maybe stagger the edges of the rays so its not a perfect rectangle.

Not squared off. Use a grunge look on the ends of the rays.

A 767 as a kamikaze plane, flying into a building? Ill pass. Love the rising sun, though. So original. You NEVER see those. Or paint splatters.

the drawn looks better in white. and without the square frame. maybe making the rays a circle.

yeah the border wasnt cuttin' it...especially after they told me they wanted it on a black shirt instead of the innitial tan.
and the 767(ish) planes...i dunno. they suggested it. so they got it.
