Legend has it that a Phoenix will regenerate by building a nest of cinnamon sticks and igniting. A new phoenix rises from the ashes. This is my take on that rebirth.

Part of my 'Animals in the afterlife' project.

Criticism is definitely welcomed.

    Yeah it looks great man! The outline stroke feels a little too heavy and consistent for me - but it is a really strong composition and concept!

    Thanks Amee. I’ve gotten alot of criticism in the past about my linework not being dynamic enough, so I’m trying to play with line weight a bit more. This may be a bit too much. lol
