This is kind of a spiritual design. Its one’s constant struggle with the forces of evil. I think everyone has a spiritual guardian and her guardian happens to be the tiger. I always loved the depiction of fireflies in Japanese culture so I also wanted to create something that used that imagery as well as some other concepts I had in my head. This is a 4 color design.
I was messing around with the name and started with "Firefly Girl" but when talking with Seibie about the translation he mentioned "Daughter of the Fireflies", I thought it sounded really cool so I went with it.

At first glance I thought it was another tattoo look, but as I sat on it forahwile, I really started to love it, great job and colors.
