Accepted design for Hawthorne Heights. I’ve been on a bird kick lately. This is my first time drawing one in a looooonnng time. I’m happy with the end result.
When coming up with the idea I thought of all of their problems lately and how they’re trying to rise up out of a tragedy. At the same time I didn’t want it to be too literal.

birds are awesome. they are on par difficulty wise with hands and maybe faces. so intricate, you have to reduce and interpret details to fewer lines. great bird man. props. PRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOPPPPPS.
(say props in a screaming voice... out of no where... like HH)
