Thanks for the advice, I’m gonna fine tune it a bit more before it’s done. Yeah, generic, but I wanted to do one of those head blowing pics once at least :P I’ll do another when I get the pic I want, this kind of concept needs to be really good if it’s gonna stand out, and with the picture I used on this one it’s simply impossible.
Don’t apologise & don’t listen too much to what other people say, unless they can do something better themselves… have you printed this yet, or just a design? talking of uploading, we better get started…..
peace,
pistache
@pistache: the tee is marked as critique so listening to people’s input is kinda the point. You always decide if that input ultimately influences your direction but having the knowledge is a good thing.
pistache: As for now it’s just a design, I don’t know how much it costs in the us, but printing this would cost me like 40$ in sweden, and then I wouldn’t even get a screen print, and since I don’t know how to do make templates by myself I don’t have much of a choice.
I’ll probably redo it with that other pic I was talking about before printing anyways.
stremph: Yup, you’re right! When you design stuff you can get kinda blind to flaws in your own design (because it looks SO GREAT), so a second or third opinion is always good to have!
AYYOGOLDSTEIN: It’s not AngryBlue, it’s El&Font Gohtic!, http://www.dafont.com/el-font-gohtic.font I wanted an angry feeling to the text, I mean it says “I hate you” and is blown out his head, like Comic Sans Ms wouldn’t really go with the rest of the picture.
wow! i just joined this site and i love how nasty people are! this is fun!
@ papa: yeah my brother did a degree in screenprinting and dye technology…. i did marketing and french!
just for the record i like the design and i’m gonna break the mold and not say anything negative about it!

The typeface could be better, and you’re right, the concept is a bit generic and predictable.

I can add that I “finished” it at like 3am so I didn’t have the energy to go over the details.

pistache: I’d do that too if I knew how to do it.
