New to this community and inspired by the skull work and incredible detail so many of you employ, I took a stab at something along those lines.
All sushi pieces and roe/smelt. The dashed lines are supposed to be rice...and model those dia de los muertos skulls. The eyes are ginger and the striped background is supposed to be like that plastic grass sort of stuff that comes with some sushi meals.
We have a t-shirt line called No Star (http://nostarclothing.com/), but the aesthetic weve employed is generally very simple, two or three color designs. I would love some input on how to finish this work and what print process you guys would employ to ensure it isnt super heavy on the shirt.
Ideas for a background? Any input is certainly appreciated. Thanks.

You could definitely get a nice, thin, soft print using plastisol inks, especially if you print it on white. I just got this printed, and its really soft. No pictures yet.
Looks like kind of a lot of colors, though, unless some of the lighter colors are just halftones of the darker. Also, Fresh to Death is a myspace clothing company thing: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=99792731

Thanks for the heads up on that line. It is a lot of colors. I had some halftones, then once I hit like 5 colors I said screw it and didnt worry that much about adding new spot colors...thinking maybe about doing an index print. Though I really am not sure about that process.
Thanks again. Dig the anti-mustard campaign...odd, but funny.
